The contrast…

between the land and sky was very pronounced this morning! It was so quiet! No wind, no birdsong, no animals! The Cairngorms still wore a bank of cloud, but on return this had lifted, the sun was hot and the birds had woken. There were Goldfinches, Pied Wagtail families, Pipits and a Woodpecker. 
Stayed warm and sunny all day, lovely!
