Against All Odds

This tiny but perfect dahlia deserved to be Blipped more so than any other flower in the garden. Not that long ago, the plant was completely eaten by slugs and I thought that she was a 'goner'. 
I moved the pot to where the slugs couldn't get to her and forgot all about it. I couldn't believe it when a tiny bud started to form and a couple of days ago it bloomed. 
What a starlet she is :-)
