Roll on Summer

We Scots, like the rest of the UK, talk a lot about the weather. This is hardly surprising as a hoary old joke so accurately reflects "If you don't like the weather in Scotland, wait half an hour and it will change".

The last gasp of winter in the north east of Scotland has been eclipsed by the winter weather much further south in Englandshire.

This is rural Aberdeenshire today and the roads are largely clear unless you go up the glens where fourteen foot drifts abound.
