Boats, Burds & Beaming Smiles...

Back at the Inverclyde Enterprise Showcase today and blipping this time from the Gourock PS stand, where Vicky, Robert and Robyn were on duty, making sure everyone passing heard about George Wyllie and learned how to make a paper boat.

Back in October, Vicky created our smallest paper boats and they went on display at the Mitchell.

In November, she made a garland of little paper boats and told us the story behind them.

In December, she and fellow pupil, Angela were there to guide Cabinet Secretary, Michael Russell around the exhibition.

And inFebruary, Vicky represented P6 at our wee Blipfoto reunion. So, it was very fitting that today, Vicky was there along with Robert and Robyn, running paper boat building workshops for pupils from other Inverclyde schools.

The Gourock PS stand was certainly a showcase of enterprise... paper boats, wooden boats, felt question marks, wee burds, big locomotives!

Vicky has been the face of P6 online but right beside her and today there was a lot of evidence of all their work, is the whole P6 class!

Well done P6 Gourock PS... Confident individuals, Sucessful learners, Effective contributors and very Responsible citizens.
