Back Blip - major catch-up in progress, filling those Blipgaps in my journal

Saturday was a fine day out.

One of my friends had suggested that a group of us meet up for lunch and so we gathered from our various home locations at a very pleasant farm-shop and cafe near Fintry. (I had half hoped that we might be finished in time for me to get to the football in Alloa but that wasn't to be - just as well as Falkirk lost 2-0.)

As it happened we had a most enjoyable blether and catch-up and then J suggested we all head off in our respective cars to Flanders Moss and have a walk around there. Flanders Moss National Nature Reserve is a large area of raised peat bog with a viewing platform, boardwalk trail and interpretation boards along the way.

Having done that we then decided to drive a little further for a coffee and cake stop before making our way home. Well worth missing the football for!
