Luss

A nice bright Tuesday morning visit to Luss, a conservation village on the west bank  of Loch Lomond.
We walked the Luss Heritage Trail, a circular walk which takes around an hour. The main picture is taken from Luss Glebe with the tower of Luss Parish Church showing through the trees, the Pilgrimage Cross to the left and Ben Lomond on the horizon. The extra shows some of the ancient gravestones in the churchyard including a rare Viking hog back stone which could date from 1263 and beautiful coloured berry trees on the Glebe.
