Life on the edge

A lovely afternoon. Red took me, Andrew and George to The Rocks for lunch. As ever, we had a wonderful meal and the friendly service made us feel really welcome and special. They even offered us some sandwiches to take home for supper, which were left over from a funeral! We declined.

Afterwards, I walked along the clifftop trail to pick Matthew up from his friend's house in Belhaven. Fantastic walk in the sunshine. The picture was taken from Winterfield, looking back to the remains of Dunbar castle. There was an offshore haar, which is why there is limited visibility in the picture.

Meanwhile, Red kept Andrew and George entertained at Lauderdale Park. Matthew and I met them there, then we ambled home together, just in time for them to catch Robin Hood and Primeval.
