Footballing family

This is a footall card of our great uncle William Tabram, just bought from ebay. He played for Swansea Town, Port Vale, Hull City and South Shields in the 1930s - and lived 2 doors down from us as we were growing up. I remember a hand tinted photo of him in his football strip on the wall in their living room, and also that he was an avowed Communist. According to wikipedia he was renowned for his great technical skill, played at centre half, made 161 league appearances and scored 6 league goals.
