Catching Rain

We are collecting rain from off of the greenhouse. We had a moderate rain today, maybe a quarter of an inch, and we caught 55 gallons in four hours. We are draining it to our old, old well, the original water source on the place, and we are hopeful we will use it next summer. I am keeping track of the gallonage.
