Into the final quarter of my latest read. It's a doozy, with frequent references to one of my favourite novels and films, Contact by Carl Sagan.

Still intrigued by why the protagonist, Joshua Valiente, is pictured on the cover with a gorilla when he spends most of his time in this novel in the company of a troll. All will soon be revealed, I'm sure.
