The sewing battle

This had been happening for so long that I pinned up an experimental curtain to see if it would help. And it did. So i made a nicer one today. It should have been a nice, relaxing holiday type of thing to do. But it wasn't. Instead, it was a lot of full throttle pedal work, while small boys were playing, and then lots of one handed sewing while batting the smallest one away from either A. driving cars over the top of the machine B. twirling the thread C. spinning the winder thing at the side (don't know technical name) or D. turning off the machine (he found the switch quite quickly).
But. I was determined. And the curtain got finished.
