I took a cold lunchtime walk

I haven't taken a photo for a challenge for ages, but today I did something; namely walked into town for dinner tonight and money from the hole in the wall.

It was bitterly cold, with lumps of snow and ice from the weekend still hanging around, especially in shady areas. On the way back I noticed these primroses, in planters, gamely cheering up the walkway in front of the sports centre. Despite the now icy snow surrounding then, they really brightened up the area and inspired me to dig the compact out of the bottom of my bag.
