Off island

We had appointments off island to get our eyes checked, almost 2 years to the day since our last checkup. I needed new lenses for the glasses I use when I'm working on the desktop but didn't need my everyday lenses changed.  Yay! My eyesight hasn't changed in over 3 years, so that was good news. G needed lenses for his reading glasses.
We had lunch and a good visit with Beaches Doogie and Impy. Always good to see them and catch up in person.
The main image is one of the views from the ferry on the way over to the big island. The Crofton mill  "...is an integrated paper and pulp manufacturing division with two operating paper machines and two pulp machines.Major products include newsprint, directory paper and kraft pulp, which is used to manufacture printing, writing and speciality papers."  (from the mill website)
1st extra: Signs at the terminal taken through the window while waiting in the ferry lineup
2nd extra: A cloud that we saw from about halfway across as the sky changed and the rain started
3rd extra: a view from the ferry dock on our way home
