Great camouflage

What a rough night we had ...... gale force winds & torrential rain ..... all night! It was so bad I did wonder if we'd wake up with the house adrift at sea! Lol It really was rough!

Checked the garden this morning .... surprisingly the Sunflower survived intact! The (supposed to be) evergreen Honeysuckle was a different matter ...... it was still on the fence but a large area was devoid of leaves ..... these were all on the ground! The wind must have formed a vortex round the Buddleia & stripped the leaves from that part of the Honeysuckle ...... it does look strange without them!

The weather has greatly improved during the day ...... the sun has put in an appearance & brought this beauty ...... so well camouflaged on the gravel .... only knew it was there as I saw it land! :-)
