love is a verb

A couple of years ago, as the kids outgrew their farm boots, I started using them for planters. I finally got them cleaned up and freshly planted today!
It’s been a blessed but busy week with not much slowing down in sight! My cousin came and spent Wednesday and Thursday with us. Then 2 more cousins, these are from Texas, come in tomorrow! We are so excited to see them and to get to feed and love on them. I’m adopted so I don’t know a lot of “ blood” relatives. It’s nice when we can reconnect. However, we are acutely aware that love is the bond that holds, not blood.
The house is all clean, porch straightened, meal plans thought out! Now, to wash a stinky little hairless dog! She has found something stinky in the yard that she adores and has anointed herself. It’s bad. :—)
Be blessed!
