One Eyed Spider

I've been busy all day cleaning and baby proofing. With restrictions easing and family visiting on Monday it feels like Christmas. The excitement is building :-) 

I didn't have a blip so put the macro lens on and went searching. I was going to take the bearded iris which has just started flowering (and narrowly missed making an appearance for Flower Friday yesterday) but found this lucky spider living on it. 
It looks like it has just one big eye but that would be silly. I suspect it's the back end. Or maybe they are very close together. It's a very small spider. Measured in millimetres.
In fact it looks more like an octopus.
