Speeding along

After a day of quietly reading, we decided on a takeaway pizza for dinner. I ordered one and then drove to the northern end of Snells Beach for a walk on the exposed sand and mud of low tide. Which is where I saw this young man driven fast by the wind in the shallow water on his board. Perhaps because the water was not even knee high where he was sailing, he kept crashing off. I suspect that the fin on the bottom of the board was hitting the bottom, causing the crash. I had walked more than a half mile out over the exposed flats and still had a couple of hundred metres before the water
