Hedgehog feeding station

Me and P have been putting food out for our nighttime visitor. The problem was the cats thought we had started an el fresco dining experience for them! So we put our thinking caps on and created this cat proof hedgehog feeding station. But we are yet to see it in action. We’ve seen the hedgehog in the garden, and the food disappears every morning but we still have no idea if it’s actually the hedgehog that’s eating it!
