St Brigit's Garden

In Galway for the weekend and visited  St Briigit's Garden in Moycullen this afternoon, a lovely layout of gardens with a celtic earthmother kind if a flavour. Tastefully done (no green leprecauns or kiss me quick hats!) with sections devoted to the four seasons: Lughnasa (August), Samhain (November), Bealtaine (May) and Imbolic (St Brigidt's day, February 1st). There's a fairy village for children too. It's a not for profit organisation that also runs an artist in residence programme and today's blip is a piece by one of the artists, a figure made of bronze leaves.

Samhain, Imbolc, Bealtaine and Lughnasa.
