Pyracantha

It is strange how the different shrubs differ from year to year. Last year the elderberries along the lane were prolific and we managed to collect berries and make elderflower cordial, and we were looking forward to making some this year. However there are hardly any elderberries on the bushes, but these berries on the pyracantha are quite stunning! No cordial though , sadly!!
