Half-timbered houses in Monschou !!

Today we made a day trip to Monschou with dear friends.
Monschou is located in the middle of the Eifel and is a small village with many half-timbered houses. In fact, it consists almost entirely of half-timbered houses.
This results in a lot of tourists
go to.
It is very cosy.
There is even a TV series recorded. The series is called "Die Eifelpraxis".
Today was a lovely autumn day. You had to wear a jacket, but it was wonderful to stay in the sun.
We then drove to the Ruhrsee. We wanted dinner there, but due to a lack of staff, many hotel-restaurants are only accessible to hotel guests.
The lack of wait staff is also a major problem here in the Netherlands. Due to Corona and the long closure of the restaurants, many staff have been laid off and have found new jobs elsewhere. Because wait staff don't get paid that much, they don't come back now. Jobs elsewhere pay much more.
I'm curious how that should go on.
I wish everyone a nice weekend.
We didn't go home hungry, "hihi", we found a snack bar and ate chips with schnitzel and sour meat.
