Night Terrors

Back to Arfern for the start of the homeward leg. It’s really got too late - I should have done it weeks ago. Well, that’s certainly how I felt as the bus pulled out of Glasgow through the rain sodden streets.
But things started looking up. I got the boat over and fuelled up. And then Roger arrived and we strolled up to the pub for a meal and a beer. But then, returning to the yacht centre, we could smell smoke, and see lights in the distance that looked like a bonfire - and then, drifting over the ether, music! Not any old music, no no, rock steady northern soul. Banging out. We just had to find out more, and after a few discreet enquiries we were ushered into the presence of a shadowy figure in sunglasses and a captain’s cap…
