First Lit Salon as an intern

The City of Literature puts on a literature salon at the Wash Bar the last Tuesday of every month, and yesterday was my first one as an intern of the City of Lit. It was a blast. Peggy lovingly trusted me enough to operate the City of Literature's Twitter account, and I enjoyed trying to decide what everyone would want to hear about. We had wine (well, not me, as I don't drink wine), sandwiches, and great conversations. Chris Scott told me there are only FOUR good cheese jokes in the world; we talked about our favorite uplifting or comfort book; and I met a lot of new and wonderful people.
