Alcester Town Cryer

Great weekend and lovely weather

Started the morning with a breakfast in the Alcester Town hall to raise money for local charities.

Then it was time for the traditional tasting of the Ale and Cider by the Leet to see if it was fit for human consumption.

Alcester Leet in main image and first extra. The Leet is male only and argues its maintaining traditions but obviously there are those who disagree and argue for women to be allowed to join.

My Blip gives the impression that the Town Cryer has hit one of his fellow members.

In the evening it was my Bowls Club annual get together. Very welcoming bunch of people.

This afternoon we went to the National Trust at Baddesley Clinton ( second extra ). A lovely Tutor Manor House surrounded by a moat
