A very good Hare day

Very late start to our day! and a beautiful breakfast cooked by K. Once restored we set off to the small market town of Pateley Bridge. The old workshops and museum were closed unfortunately but the oldest sweet shop in the world wasn't so little purchases were made from an enormous range of old fashioned and traditional beauties. No lunch required so we and Gemboy (dog) set out on another lovely riverside walk which is where K spotted what she thought was a rabbit in a field full of hens. On closer Inspection I saw it was a tiny Leveret. It wasn't at all bothered by the hens and seemed quite happy grazing and washing itself although when I zoomed in I saw it had a nasty raw patch on its face which looked like a bite.

Last day of our short stay in Yorkshire. We've had a lovely time.
