Barcelona Airport

We started our return trip to the United States (and then Mexico) at the Barcelona Airport quite early in the morning. Our early arrival gave us time to enjoy the beautiful architecture of the main terminal building and get a little breakfast before departure. We wished the Newark airport was as beautiful because we had to spend seven hours waiting for our flight to LAX in much more crowded conditions. All in all with delays and airport time, it took us almost 24 hours to traverse the 6,000+ miles between BCN and LAX. Very glad to have that day of travel behind us.
