Sunday: Hawthorn Shield Bug …

… maybe? What do the experts on Blip and Twitter think? Thank you in advance!
A fine, warm and sunny day.
Finished pruning the buddleia, the green bin is full to bursting - no more pruning until it’s been emptied, I’m on holiday! :-)
Swept all the leaves from the patio behind the garage, I’d “chopped & dropped” the trimmings from a Phlomis, the leaves went on top.
The Robin was thrilled with all the clearing and had many a tasty snack, paid for with some singing.
Added watercress to my garden salad - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2760240553470723841
and sat in the sunshine to eat it. Lots of insects around and a butterfly …!
This is a very unusual shield bug, haven’t seen this type before.
Noticed the huge cloud of seagulls just gliding on the thermals, unusual to see so many but makes me happy. Have tried to adjust the best of my photos but really don’t do it justice :-((
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
