Valentinuskapelle

My blip shows the entrance of the Valentinuskapelle (Valentine-chapel) in Eppertshausen, 18km northeast of Darmstadt, 21km southeast of Frankfurt.
This chapel was built 1438-1442, as an atonement of some Leonhard Richards for a murder. The legend goes that it has been a hunting accident.
Thanks to Marlieske for hosting the Derelict Sunday challenge.

PS: Eppertshausen has a major church. If you drive to Eppertshausen from the south you see that church from afar. If the street wouldn't have a bend you would drive right into it. The chapel however is hidden somewhere in one of the little streets. I found it by accident on my bike tour.
