Mono Monday - 1851 - The Singer Sewing Machine

1851—Isaac Singer invents his eponymous sewing machine, and four years later, patents a sewing machine motor.
Isaac Singer was American and the first machine was produced in Boston when you look at the production history the numbers produced were enormous and shipped all over the world.
www.singer.com.tr is the place to go if it interests you. You Tube have some interesting historical films.

The machine in Mono is my "Better half's" complete with table and made in the 1920's it is in remarkable condition and still works.
