March Daily Challenge - Something you did

Day 26 of MissyMoo's March daily challenge - Something you did: Did you run? Drink something? Wrote something? Talked to someone? Get creative and show it in a photo.

A bit of a backblip as I didn't get home until late.

Tonight was camera club night, and it was competition night. We have an annual league of 6 rounds, plus a separate Annual competition where you can only submit images that you haven't entered into the league that year, you can then enter them into the league the following year.

It was the second round of the league tonight, and between myself and the programme secretary we awarded the judge the white stick :), after all he gave us both bottom marks in the projected image section.

If he used the phrase "well seen" you knew you were getting a low mark.

The mono version of 24/11 which won the annual competition last year was unplaced, my print of 16/03 he complained that there were bicycles in it (in Cambridge! - what else do you get, they're part of the scenery). He complained that a toned print had a colour cast and so the list goes on. At least he gave myself and the programme secretary a good laugh, and we were able to laugh about it.

Something I did tonight? - had a laugh at a judge.

You see here the prints set out before the judging of the prints started. At the far left is our print stand - a clever device with lighting top and bottom and a hole with a fan in it in the back, so that the prints are held flat against the rear. On the far right you see part of the judge, no white stick visible.
