Mono Monday...Inventions

So many inventions in the19th century, one of them being the first mass produced fountain pen.
In the 1880s the era of the mass-produced fountain pen finally began. The dominant American producers in this pioneer era were Waterman, of New York City, and Wirt, based in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Waterman soon outstripped Wirt, along with many companies that sprang up to fill the new and growing fountain pen market. Waterman remained the market leader until the early 1920s.....(Wikipedia)
I have a fountain pen, not an expensive one, which was a present a few years ago, sadly these days not used. Being left handed, as a child I had a fountain pen specifically marketed for left handers and manufactured by a company called Osmiroid. My handwriting was very neat but has deteriorated markedly since those days...Thanks to Laurie54 for hosting some very interesting challenges..
