Two little birds

As the days get shorter and colder I’d really like to photograph a few birds in the garden, but all there are today are magpies, pigeons and crows. Where have all the little birds got to ? This ceramic coaster shows what I wish I could blip.
Good news for Mr. Beewatcher though, as a consultation confirmed that his prostate cancer procedure seems to have been very successful. He’ll be monitored regularly for several years, but the outlook is good. 
I’m so grateful for the great treatment he’s had.
