Off to the Dog show.

I could not believe how far back these watercolours go- Many moons ago we attended our first ever dog show here in Bournemouth. We had a trade stand selling our artwork. I found these originals - working drawings/paintings filed away. I loved painting compositions adding a touch of humour. We certainly did see some funny sights at the shows. Bearded Collies being "strapped" to the back of a handler while walking through the mud. 3 whippets in a pushchair. Pug trying to stay vertical inside its cage while being pushed at an angle. The owner was oblivious to the discomfort the dog was experiencing as she was talking on her mobile phone. Great fun all round.
