Seeing Beyond Looking

Escapade

My daughter took a couple of days off and suggested we go to a spa centre that we know. We can get there by car in less than an hour. The main shot was taken this morning from the lovely park surrounding the hotel where we stayed for one night!  There was a special 'Lights Show' (Baignades illuminées). That meant we could watch the show from one of the several pools outside. It's really fun to swim at night! The surroundings are lovely and rather mountainous.

We treated ourselves to a back massage done with special shells and warm oil.  We were in the water for most of our stay, with relaxation rooms, luminotherapy, hammam and sauna. ( I prefer the former to the latter).

We were only away for one night but we used our two days to a maximum! It felt like a real holiday and was a lovely break.

Extra collage:
Upper left: beautiful autumn leaves from a Horse Chestnut tree in the park. A mountain view from the other side of the park.
Lower left: a walk through the park with a partial view of a metal sculpture and walking along the Rhone River. A metal torso statue overlooking the park and set at the entrance to the massage and treatment centre.

We were so lucky to have fabulous weather.
