Toppings is an amazing bookshop with aisles, like the limbs of an octopus, stretching in all directions.
Many of the hard backed books are very carefully covered with cellophane to protect the dust jackets from accidental damage.

I remember that the first book I bought from the then newly opened shop was Enigma by Robert Harris and since that momentous purchase I have read many other novels but that famous author.
