Turkish Barber Experience

Today was the day to clean and pack everything up in the Duke and get it ready to be put in storage, so I got up early to get the washing on the line. But it was not a good drying day despite Kevin’s new clothes prop so we took all the wet laundry to the local laundromat to get it dry before we could store it.
We also had to take care of the necessary Covid tests - this time twice in one day! First we had to take the Day 2 test from returning to the UK from Spain, and then we had to take the pre-travel test before going back to the US. Stressful business for David who handled it all very ably!
On the way back to Kevin’s we had a picnic lunch in a pretty little village called Nettleham, where there was a Turkish Barber shop that Kevin recommended. So in the spur of the moment, David decided to experience the service too. He did a great job, including waving a burning swab around ear and nose hairs!
Then we returned to a delicious dinner cooked by David and finish off the packing, as we leave here early tomorrow morning!
