Shaggy inkcap Scientific name: Coprinus comatus

Garden is full of different varieties of fungi just now or at this time or at the present or now.
I understand that this if picked early prior to dissolving into slimy ink can be delicious but can have nasty consequences if you have any alcohol in your system.
Perhaps not.
A morning tour of logan botanical gardens led by Colin and Alan. Met a few folks with a car park plant/ seed exchange then lunch in the potting shed bistro there with the essential Ecclefechan pie and Galloway ice cream.
Some turf relocating back at home garden.
Supper of roasted peppers which were stuffed with the mushroom risotto rice.
Trust that the fungi spores will entitle this as a tiny Tuesday entry.
Many thanks to KangaZu for hosting TT for the rest of this month.
