Drip-dry

This succulent, thrusting forward its spring display for our admiration, is perched on a patio corner where only a storm of rain is likely to affect it. So today, as the mizzle goes drizzling on, it is more than content to be dry and feel sorry for the rained-on plants that have had almost enough moisture to satisfy them for a while.
