Country house

Nierhoven, called Nirve in Limburg, is a hamlet in Nuth belonging to the municipality of Beekdaelen, in the Dutch province of Limburg. The hamlet takes its name from the nearby country house of the same name. It is one of the so-called Upper Hamlets of Nuth. The hamlet consists of a number of houses located on the road Nierhoven, which runs between Graygrubben and Kamp. South of Nierhoven lies the valley of the Platsbeek.

Jozef Habets describes the estates of Neerhoven or Nierhoven in his book about the former Heerlijkheid Nuth. Huis Nierhoven is a country house from around 1550. This house consists of a square farm with a gated facade and courtyard. The complex also includes a chapel with an altar from the 18th century.
