Bakewell's Love Locks Bridge

After a good night's sleep, and a substantial breakfast at our B&B, we strolled in to the town to look round before heading north again. On either side of the Wye Bridge are thousands padlocks, each of which is inscribed with the initials of two lovers. They have been attached to the bridge and the key thrown away, symbolising unbreakable everlasting love. Apparently they may not be there for much longer.
We managed to resist the Bakewell tarts!

After a very pleasant drive through the Derbyshire Dales, we called in to Cleckheaton very briefly to drop off something with friends. Then to pick up Tom from his home near Leeds - he's come to stay for a long weekend, for the first time in 18 months. MrM predictably drove us back via the scenic route, with a stop on the way to look round Richmond...
