Nuthatch ( Sitta europaea )

As I have said before I like occasional visits from Nuthatches because in my formative years when I was learning abut birds they never occurred in the county.  As a result I always find them a little unusual and exotic.

This means that if I get chance of a halfway reasonable shot then it will be used in blip.    This male was an exception from the usual visit style.  Usually it is a quick single dash in grab and away.  This one dashed in grabbed and away, the difference being it kept coming back very quickly giving a good chance for blips.
