One daze at a time...

Flat lining

Now that the excitement of the fourteen years celebrations are over, now that the last drop of bubbly has been squeezed out of the last jeroboam, now that all the canapes have been wolfed down, that the cuban cigars have been stubbed out in the crystal ashtrays, that the last chords produced by the string quartet are slowly evaporating into the cool air of the night, it is time to switch off the chandeliers, let the cleaning staff clear out the ballroom and lock it up for another year.
You've been a get crowd. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your good wishes.
Now it's time to don the speedos and head back to a cooler, calmer, more solitary environment.
