On the Lookout

Sitting at the top of our next door neighbor's sugar maple tree, the starling was  looking for autumn colors today. As were we, as we drove north along CRR and County Line Road, through bits of Cuyahoga and Lake Counties.  It was wall-to-wall sunshine all day and pleasantly in the low 80s.  Rain is on the way and hopefully with some cooler temperatures ahead, we may see some color.  Lots of brown leaves are down and the woodland garden in the backyard is covered with brown pine needles.

This shot is straight out of the camera.   The starling is NOT wearing a toupee, I assure you.  Thanks for stopping by and to our wonderful host Cailleach.
