The SPH rolled out the welcome mat before it re-opened on Monday with a series of posters - Here For The Beer, Frothin’ For A Schooey, We’re Back Get In Here and this one by the main entrance. 

This afternoon’s thunderstorm wasn’t as wild as predicted. No tornadoes or giant hailstones in Canterbury, but impressive thunder, lightning and rain.

A new historical drama tonight - New Gold Mountain set on the Victorian goldfields in 1857 - and a doco about local sculptor Bronwyn Oliver.
