The Turner Prize

Went to the Herbert art Gallery in Coventry to see the five installations that are tackling pressing issues in society and are competing for the Turner Prize. The photo is a of an imaginary Irish Pub where people can gather outside the sectarian divides that have dominated Northern Ireland for the last hundred years. The public are invited to vote for their preferred installation and my vote went to The Cooking Section which addressed the environmental impact of salmon farms in Scotland. Had lunch in Wagamama and didn’t choose anything with salmon!!
