Autumn Fungi

We have decided not to return to the Heriot-Watt choir meantime so went over to return music and folders this morning.

Having done so we took a different route for our walk, past the Oriam Centre with its noisy rugby training and gym, we continued to walk in woodland along unfamiliar path to the south, which follows the perimeter of the campus.to the western edge. There were few examples of fungi apart from some destroyed fly agaric and small unknown on dead wood, the only birdsong that of a robin but the weather was fine, though windy. We returned straight through the middle of the campus to the James Watt Centre and down to the car park.

This family of Daddy, Mummy and Baby Shaggy Cap (Coprinus comatus) was located near the Marriot Hotel, close to the zebra crossing.
