I met Im at Tooting Broadway in the middle of the day.
This cast iron lamp post is actually more multi-purpose than it seems: it is (obviously) a lamp- and sign-post, but the base also features gratings which allowed it (previously) to provide ventilation for public lavatories located beneath it.
