Not just any old wall .....

...... that is part of the side wall of the house I lived in for nearly 40 years and it's only about 100 yards from my current home.

A number of years ago the new owners had the head high wall re roughcast but the ivy keeps climbing up and over. At this time of year the colours are quite spectacular.

Four of moved into the house, the number increasing to seven when my gran came to live with us, my brother was born and we had a dog to look after. By 1991 there were only three occupants .... me, my mum and Kim the black lab. It was far too big a house for two so mum and I packed our bags and moved along the road ..... can't believe I've been in this house for nearly 30 years. Where has the time gone?
