Arse

And I don’t mean Mr P! We were in Arse today. The old Iberian name for what is now Sagunto. A town about 20 miles north of Valencia, with a huge fortified castle, dating back to the 3rd century BC.
Back to the flat for a very late lunch and a siesta. Out again in the evening to explore and climb up the old city walls. We’re trying not to spend too much money on this trip (as we have none now) but it was such a warm evening we couldn’t resist a jug of Agua de Valencia (local cocktail) and tapas in the Carmen area of the city (party central).
