Bernardine Evaristo

A very busy day. I was helping organise a ladies breakfast event at church. It was a shock when I left at 8am to collect the pastries that I had to scrape the windscreen. It all went well but it was 1pm by the time I got home. I had the house to myself as my daughter had got the bus back to Lochgilphead and my husband was driving to Inverness to see his mum and brother. 
It was sunny by then so I did a couple of hours tidying up in the garden followed by the ironing.
In the evening I went to a book event organised by Toppings and co. Bernardine Evaristo was speaking about her new book, Manifesto. It was very interesting and as you got the price of the ticket off the book I decided to buy a copy!
